THE ARRIVAL HALL
The Arrival Hall enjoys splendid views across the Garden Terrace and a dramatic entrance for your guests. Grand doors open up to The Garden Terrace where, in the warmer months, your guests will be served cocktails and canapés.
Host your wedding reception drinks where authentic features make a real statement. It’s light-filled in the summer, warm in the winter months and adorned with a seasonal jardinière for that pop of colour.
PEPLOE LOUNGE & BAR
With its rich decorative style in deep hues of blues and golds and stylish feature bar, the Peploe Lounge & Bar at Old Palace Chester is a sophisticated space featuring contemporary pieces of furniture. A setting for your guests to relax and enjoy conversation throughout the day, appreciating the views across the garden and the river beyond.
And if you’re looking for a showstopping drinks experience, our cocktail bars will get the party started and keep your guests refreshed throughout the night.
THE BALLROOM
With ample space to seat 150 guests, the magnificent Ballroom is the setting for your wedding breakfast. Its versatile shape offers various options for seating arrangements while a neutral colour scheme, ambient lighting, oak floor and abundance of natural light set the scene for the most stylish dining experience. Impressive sash windows and a contemporary glass extension bring the outside in during winter months.
The Ballroom can also be used for larger ceremonies, seating up to 150.
RIVER KITCHEN
