Take your vows in The Palace’s former chapel, The River Room, before continuing the celebrations in the magnificent Ballroom, Peploe Lounge and Bar, and throughout the charming grounds. Then, for the grand finale, stay the night in The Palace Suite, complete with Italian plasterwork and views across the water.

Step into The Morning Room at Old Palace Chester. This dedicated dressing room has been purpose-designed with ample natural light, hair and make-up stations, a full-length mirror and a luxurious shower room. This hideaway is all yours for the morning.
The Palace Suite, our breathtaking honeymoon suite, is also yours to use from midday, and its spectacular windows make it the ideal place to capture photos just before making your way down to the ceremony. We also have an additional space, The Den, that your partner can make use of in the morning. This space has a shower room, sofas and plenty of space for them and their party to get ready in.
If you are feeling peckish in the morning, you can order one of our delicious grazing boards to share with your wedding party along with bottles of beer, champagne or prosecco.
Your Chester Wedding Ceremony
Whilst you are making your final preparations, we will provide your guests with the warmest of welcomes as they start the celebrations in the Peploe Lounge & Bar. Once you are ready and your guests are all seated you can make your way to your ceremony space where your loved ones will be eagerly awaiting your grand entrance.
Choose from the light-filled River Room or the larger Ballroom for an indoor ceremony. If you would prefer an outdoor ceremony, The Garden Terrace is enclosed in lush private gardens. The choice is entirely yours.
