Celebrate the joy of the festive season by hosting your unforgettable Christmas party at Old Palace Chester, an exclusive-use events venue in the centre of historic Chester.
As your guests arrive, they’ll be greeted with a choice of refreshing Prosecco or warming mulled wine, getting them in the festive spirit from the moment they walk through the doors. Together, you’ll then indulge in a sumptuous three-course meal, expertly prepared by our talented chefs, accompanied by half a bottle of wine per person to enhance the dining experience.
After the meal service, unwind with a cosy tea & coffee station accompanied by delicious mince pies. Your guests can enjoy capturing the fun and festivities of their evening in our onsite before dancing the night away. At the end of the night, there are 22 bedrooms for guests to stay overnight at the venue.

STARTER
Ham and chicken terrine with shallot and caper mayonnaise
Seared scallops with curry parsnip puree, parsnip crisps and pomegranate
Pear and walnut tart with chicory salad and deep fried blue cheese (V)
MAIN
Roast turkey wrapped in pancetta with a chestnut and cranberry stuffing, creamed savoy cabbage, buttered sprouts with roasted shallots and potatoes
Grilled fillet of sea bass, garlic and herb crushed new potatoes, beetroot and olive oil vinaigrette
Brie and cranberry pithivier with roasted root vegetables, buttered sprouts, roasted shallots and potatoes (V)
DESSERT
Panettone bread and butter pudding with apricot sauce and clotted cream
Plum and pear crumble with gingerbread ice cream
Chocolate delice with caramel cream and honeycomb shards

Arrival and drinks: 6:30pm
Dinner served: 7:30pm
Dancing: 9pm
Bar open: 6pm – Midnight
